This is the Thule Ranger 90 Rooftop Cargo Carrier. And this is a really nice, unique cargo carrier. And the difference is it is kind of a cross between a soft cargo carrier and a rigid one. And we will show you the differences between the two. As a conventional soft-cover bag, basically the bag will sit here in between the rails here and sit on the roof. Probably not too much damage will happen, but over a long period you could have rock or dirt or dust that get in there and kind of rubbing your paint job. Where this has a rigid base on the bottom so it stays off your car and on your load bars, which is really nice. The sides are rigid also, but the rest of it is going to be just like a conventional soft carrier that you are used to using. This cargo bag mounts to virtually any type of roof rack like the Thule we have here or a factory roof rack. It has a simple U-bolt system. However, unlike most U-bolt systems where you have kind of like a plate on top and two thumb wheels or nuts that you have to screw down it is kind of like a pain and is kind of time consuming this has a totally different system of how it attaches to the cargo carrier.
